Challenge
Desjardins is the largest financial cooperative in Canada. They are also a leading organization for sustainability and shared prosperity. With a heavy presence in Quebec, we sought to help build the Desjardins brand, their awareness and familiarity, outside Quebec by showcasing their leadership in sustainable finance and responsible investing.

Solution
Through the #OurGreenerDollar program, we built a multi-channel PR program that leveraged Desjardins’ CEO, Mr. Cormier’s presence at the 2020 GLOBE Forum, a national sustainability conference hosted in Vancouver, BC. The program centered around both macro and micro themes; how can we make an impact with our day-to-day financial choices; and, how can business leaders and financial institutions act on sustainable finance?
Impact
#OurGreenerDollar was regarded as one of the most successful recent CEO tours, due to its multi-channel touch points across mainstream media, social media, and direct relationship building with clients and stakeholders targeted by Desjardins.
