Argyle strengthens reputation risk expertise with two key U.S. hires

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 27, 2021 – Argyle announced today it is bolstering its U.S. team with two major additions specializing in crisis, reputation risk, and corporate advisory services.

The firm has named Harlan Loeb as Executive Vice President on its U.S. leadership team. Argyle also strengthens its team with the appointment of Brittany Mason as a Director in Argyle’s Washington, D.C. office. Mason’s experience is focused on technology, healthcare and finance, with a particular specialization in data security and privacy. During the recent wave of ransomware incidents, she worked on nearly 20 accounts, including one of the largest cyberattacks to date.

Both Loeb and Mason will work closely with Robert Gemmill, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Argyle’s U.S. operations, to direct the firm’s crisis, litigation, and reputation risk work.

“Reputation risk continues to grow and is now squarely the responsibility of CEOs and their boards. That’s why Argyle offers clients across North America the best and most experienced talent to meet these demands,” said Argyle CEO Daniel Tisch. “Both Harlan and Brittany bring us broad experience working with leaders and boards across various sectors, and deepen Argyle’s ability to help clients both protect and grow their reputations, brands and businesses.”

Before joining Argyle, Loeb served as Edelman’s Global Chair for Crisis & Reputation Risk for nearly a decade. working with clients around the world. He has presented and keynoted at symposiums and corporate leadership meetings across the globe. The U.S. legal trade media has consistently named Loeb as a leading crisis strategist and litigation consultant.

“As reputation continues to account for an increasing majority of many companies’ market value, it’s critical for clients to build resilience and protect their strongest corporate asset – their reputations,” said Loeb. “I’m delighted to join Argyle to help the firm build on its core strength in corporate reputation, crisis and risk communication.”

Mason’s diverse work includes helping a social media company plan for reputational and operational issues surrounding the launch of a new company, leading cybersecurity communications preparedness for a premier global investment bank, and helping a network of over 100 seniors’ communities manage COVID-19 communications.
